Progression
Four levels

What your child will work on

Four levels. A little more confidence.

From Starfish to Dolphins, each level builds on the last. Your instructor helps your child progress when they are ready.

Starfish

Build confidence with putting the face in the water, floating and gliding.

Penguins

Get comfortable in the larger pool and work on kicking, swimming on the back and retrieving objects.

Turtles

Develop full strokes, treading water and supervised deep-water skills.

Dolphins

Work on breathing, longer distances and confidence in deeper water.

Your next step

Find their
starting point.

Book a free assessment at Bishopstown. A short swim helps the team recommend the right group for your child.

Lesson fees, times and places depend on the current course. Children progress when the required skills are met.
