Swimming lessons: parent guide
Set up your account and find your child’s lesson progress in the browser booking service.
Before you start
Have the email address used for your child’s lessons and your membership number ready. If you do not know the number, ask your centre’s reception team.
For a child who is new to LeisureWorld lessons, start with the swim school assessment information. Creating an online account does not enrol your child in a class.
Register and link your account
- Open the LeisureWorld browser booking service. If you already have a linked account, sign in.
- For a new account, choose Register and Link. Enter your email address and password.
- Check your email and follow the confirmation link. Check your junk folder if the email does not arrive.
- Complete Connect to My Membership using your membership number.
- Choose My Groups, then View Members, to find your child and their progress or assessment information.
These steps follow LeisureWorld’s published parent guide. Button names can change as the booking service is updated. If your child or group is missing, reception can help link the correct record.
If something does not look right
On a phone, the group and progress screens may be easier to use with your browser’s Request desktop site option. You can also use a tablet or computer.
For forgotten sign-in details, use the booking service’s password reset. If linking fails, ask reception to check your email and membership number. Avoid creating duplicate accounts.
Before your child’s lesson
A parent or guardian must remain on site during swimming lessons. Bring swimwear, a swim hat and a towel. Read the child admission policy and ask your centre about any support your child needs.
For lessons and public swimming, supervision arrangements differ. Confirm the requirements for your child’s age before visiting.
